The GEPRC Mark4 HD GPS 6S is a classic freestyle quadcopter that remains a favorite for its simplicity, "super low center of gravity" design, and excellent flight stability. While the Mark5 is the newer flagship, the Mark4 is often preferred for long-range freestyle and "mountain surfing" due to its lighter weight and balanced X-geometry.
Super Low CG Frame: The Mark4 uses a "compressed-X" layout with a very low-profile top plate. This centers the battery and mass closer to the propeller line, resulting in more precise handling and better performance during high-speed maneuvers.
Integrated GPS Rescue: Unlike standard freestyle drones, this version comes pre-equipped with a high-accuracy GPS module. This allows for GPS Rescue mode, which can automatically turn the drone around and bring it home if the radio or video signal is lost—a must-have for flying over difficult terrain.
T700 Carbon Fiber Durability: The frame is constructed from premium T700 carbon fiber, which offers higher tensile strength and better vibration damping than standard 3K carbon. This makes the drone both harder to break and easier to tune for smooth cinematic footage.
Efficient 6S Power Plant: Designed to run on 22.2V (6S), it utilizes 2306.5 motors (typically 1850KV-1960KV). This setup provides incredible low-end torque and eliminates "voltage sag," giving you consistent power from the beginning of the flight to the very end.

The Pilot's Reality Check:
Modern vs. Classic: Compared to the Mark5, the Mark4 lacks the CNC aluminum camera cage. While it is lighter and has a lower profile, the camera is slightly more exposed. It is the "purist's" freestyle choice.
Propellers in View: Because of the compact X-design, you may see a small amount of propeller in your FPV feed at low camera tilts. Most pilots tilt the camera up to 25°–30° to move the props out of the central field of view.
