The Meteor75 is the classic "all-rounder" indoor whoop. It’s bigger and more stable than the tiny 65mm racers, making it much easier to fly through doorways and around furniture without getting tossed around by its own prop wash. It’s the go-to choice for learning the basics of acro mode in the comfort of your living room.

Product Description

BetaFPV Meteor75 Whoop 1S BNF Copters Version 1S Size 75mm Style Tiny Whoop

The Meteor75 is BetaFPV’s mid-sized whoop, sitting right in the sweet spot between indoor agility and outdoor capability. It’s built on 40mm props, which give it significantly more "grip" in the air compared to smaller 65mm drones.

  • BT2.0 Power System: This was the drone that really pushed the BT2.0 connector into the mainstream. Unlike the old white PH2.0 plugs that sagged under high throttle, the BT2.0 pins allow for more current, meaning you get consistent power through the whole battery pack.

  • Durability: The frame is made from a fairly flexible plastic that can take hundreds of tumbles onto carpet or hardwood. The injection-molded canopy protects the camera and VTX from the "upside-down" slides that happen when you push too hard.

  • C03 Camera: This version usually comes with the C03 micro camera, which is tuned for low-latency and works surprisingly well in the varying light conditions of a house (like moving from a bright window to a dark hallway).

  • Cross-Style FC: It uses the F4 1S 5A AIO board, which keeps the weight centered. The 1102 18000KV motors are balanced to give you enough punch for a power loop while still being efficient enough for 4+ minute flight times.

Technical Specifications:

  • Weight: 24.9g (without battery)

  • FC & ESC: F4 1S 5A AIO (Serial ELRS 2.4G)

  • Motors: 1102 18000KV (or 0802SE 19500KV on newer batches)

  • Propellers: 40mm 2-blade (1.5mm shaft)

  • VTX: M03 25-350mW 5.8GHz

  • Camera: BetaFPV C03

  • Receiver: Serial ELRS 2.4G (Onboard)

  • Recommended Battery: 1S 450mAh - 550mAh (BT2.0)

  • Flight Time: ~4-6 minutes

The Pilot's Reality Check:

  • Indoor vs. Outdoor: While it's great indoors, the 75mm size is where you can actually start to enjoy light-wind outdoor sessions in the garden. It doesn't get sucked into the ground as easily as a 65mm when you're descending.

  • Battery Fit: The battery tray is molded specifically for BetaFPV’s 450mAh/550mAh sticks. If you buy third-party batteries (like Tattu), they might be a tight squeeze or require a bit of trimming on the plastic tray to fit securely.

  • Prop Wash: Like all ducted whoops, if you drop straight down into your own air, it’ll wobble. You have to learn to "slide" into your descents to keep the flight smooth.

🤔 Frequently Asked Questions
  • Is it really better than the Meteor65 for indoors?

It’s a trade-off. While the Meteor65 is the king of tight gaps, the Meteor75 uses larger 40mm propellers, which give it a much "floatier" and more stable flight feel. It feels more "asjalik" when you're trying to maintain a steady hover or perform a smooth dive, making it a better all-arounder if you aren't strictly racing in tiny hallways.

  • What is the difference between the standard and the "Pro" version?

The Meteor75 Pro is essentially a "super-sized" 1S whoop. It moves to an 80mm frame and uses 45mm propellers (the largest you can find on a 1S drone). The Pro version is much better for outdoor flying because it has more thrust, but the standard 75 is still the preferred choice for strictly indoor "living room" sessions.

  • How do I bind the ELRS version to my radio?

The Meteor75 uses a "Plug-and-Unplug" method. You simply plug in your battery and unplug it three times in a row (Plug-Wait-Unplug x3). On the fourth plug-in, the green LED on the flight controller will double-blink, indicating it’s in bind mode. Then, you just hit "Bind" on your radio’s ELRS LUA script.

  • Can I use my old PH2.0 (white connector) batteries?

Technically yes, but you shouldn't. The Meteor75 comes with a BT2.0 connector, which is significantly more efficient. If you use an adapter to plug in an old PH2.0 battery, the extra resistance and weight of the adapter will kill your performance and cut your flight time in half. Stick to the BT2.0 batteries—they are the "secret sauce" of this drone.

  • How long is the flight time?

On a 1S 450mAh battery, you can expect 3.5 to 4.5 minutes of aggressive flying. If you are just slowly cruising around the house, you can push it to 6 minutes. It’s impressive for a drone that weighs only 25 grams without its battery.
