The BETAFPV Meteor75 Pro 1S HD is a high-performance "power whoop" that pushes the limits of what a 1S (single cell) drone can do. By using larger 45mm propellers (compared to the standard 40mm found on most 75mm whoops), it provides the extra thrust needed to carry a digital HD system while remaining agile enough for indoor racing and outdoor freestyle.
Large Prop Advantage: The 45mm propellers provide significant lift and thrust, compensating for the added weight of the digital VTX and ensuring the drone doesn't feel "heavy" or sluggish in the air.
Dual Digital Options: * Walksnail Version: Uses the Avatar HD Mini 1S Lite kit (1080p/60fps recording, 22ms latency).
HDZero Version: Uses the Whoop Lite VTX and Nano Lite camera (720p/60fps, near-zero fixed latency).
Matrix 1S Flight Controller: Features a high-speed G473 processor (55% faster than previous versions) and a durable 1.0mm thick PCB to survive high-speed racing impacts.
BT2.0 Power System: Utilizes the superior BT2.0 connector which reduces internal resistance, allowing for higher continuous current and eliminating the voltage sag common with older PH2.0 connectors.
Injection Molded Canopy: The lightweight "Micro Canopy Lite" is designed to protect the digital camera while providing a 0°–45° adjustable angle for various flying styles.
Technical Specifications:
Wheelbase: 80.8mm
Weight (without battery): 35.77g (Walksnail) / 34.87g (HDZero)
Motors: 1102 22000KV Brushless
FC & ESC: Matrix 1S AIO (G473 MCU, 5A ESC)
Receiver: Onboard Serial ELRS 2.4G
Battery Connector: BT2.0
Propellers: Gemfan 45mm 3-Blade (1.5mm shaft)
Flight Time: Approx. 5:30 minutes (with 550mAh battery)
Pilot's Reality Check:
Voltage Management: Because it runs on a single cell (1S), you must land as soon as you see the "Low Battery" warning. HD digital systems require a stable voltage; if the battery drops below approx. 3.0V, the video feed will abruptly cut out before the drone even stops flying.
Prop Wash: Due to the larger props in a small frame, you may experience slightly more "prop wash" (vibration when falling through your own turbulence) compared to a smaller 65mm whoop, though the stock tune handles this well.
Flyer's POV: Flying the Meteor75 Pro HD feels like "cheating." You get the visual clarity of a large 5-inch drone in a package that can bounce off your living room walls. Indoors, the extra thrust makes it feel very snappy—you have to be careful not to overshoot gates because it accelerates so quickly. Outdoors, it handles light breezes surprisingly well for its weight, allowing you to dive small trees and bushes with a level of confidence that analog whoops just can't match.
