The TrueRC Duality 2.4/5.8 Stubby antennas are specifically engineered to upgrade the DJI FPV Goggles V2 and the Fat Shark HDO3. They are "dual-band" antennas, meaning they cover both the 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequencies used by the DJI system, allowing for better range and signal penetration in a much smaller form factor than the stock linear antennas.
True Dual-Band Performance: Most FPV antennas only support 5.8GHz. The Duality is uniquely designed to handle the 2.4GHz control and video link used by the DJI FPV Drone and O3 Air Unit, as well as the standard 5.8GHz band. This ensures you maintain a solid link regardless of which frequency your system switches to.
Low-Profile "Stubby" Design: Standing at only 22mm tall, these antennas are significantly shorter than the stock DJI "ducky" antennas. This reduces the risk of them snagging on branches or breaking during transport. Many pilots leave them on the goggles permanently.
Hand-Tuned Precision: Every single TrueRC antenna is hand-tuned on a professional network analyzer. This ensures that the SWR (Standing Wave Ratio) is as low as possible, maximizing the radiation efficiency and ensuring your video transmitter isn't working harder than it needs to.
Superior Cross-Polar Rejection: With a rejection rating of -15 to -30dB, these antennas are excellent at filtering out reflected signals (multipathing). This leads to a cleaner, more stable video feed, especially when flying in environments with lots of concrete or metal.
Compatibility Note: While these use an RP-SMA connector designed for the DJI Goggles V2, they can also be used on the original DJI V1 Goggles. However, since the V1 only uses 5.8GHz, TrueRC’s "Singularity" antennas are a more cost-effective choice for that specific model.
Technical Specifications:

Polarization: LHCP (Left-Hand Circular Polarized)
Bandwidth: 2.39GHz–2.52GHz & 5.6GHz–6.1GHz
Radiation Efficiency: 99%
SWR: ≤ 1.5:1
Dimensions: 23.3mm (Diameter) x 22.0mm (Height)
Weight: 5.25g per antenna
Connector: RP-SMA
The Pilot's Reality Check:
LHCP vs. RHCP: Ensure you match the polarization of your drone's antenna. Most DJI systems (Air Unit, Vista, O3) use LHCP by default. If you use the wrong polarization, you will experience significantly reduced range.
Bag Friendly: The primary reason pilots buy these isn't just the range boost—it's the convenience. Being able to throw your goggles into a backpack without removing the antennas is a huge quality-of-life improvement.
